Your Privacy Matters
Last Updated: July 2025
We, i.e. "Lanjekar Foods & Beverages Private Limited" (the “Company”), creators of the **Morsus Delivery Partner** and **Morsus Restaurant Partner** applications (the “Apps”), are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal and business information. Your privacy matters to us, and maintaining your trust is our top priority.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and disclose information about you. By using our mobile applications or affiliated services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and our [Terms of Use]. Please review this policy regularly to stay informed of how we handle your information and any updates we may make.
This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services linked to it, but not to any third-party websites, platforms, or services not operated by us. Please review their respective privacy policies for how they handle your information.
Should you have any questions or need clarifications regarding this Privacy Policy, please write to us at support@morsus.com.
Applicability & Scope
Morsus Restaurant Partner & Morsus Delivery Partner Privacy Commitment
Lanjekar Foods & Beverages Private Limited (“Morsus”, the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines:
- The types of personal and non-personal information we may collect when you use our mobile applications or other digital platforms (collectively referred to as the “Services”); and
- How we collect, use, store, protect, and share that information.
This policy specifically applies to information collected through our Services, including data shared via electronic communication channels such as email, SMS, or WhatsApp related to your use of Morsus apps.
As part of delivering our Services, we may share certain order-related information (such as your name, contact number, address, and ordered items) with third-party restaurants and delivery partners—strictly for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your orders.
Please note: This policy does not apply to any third-party websites, applications, or services that may be accessed through Morsus (e.g., payment gateways, social media platforms, or external links). We strongly encourage you to review their respective privacy policies to understand how they handle your data.
Quick Craves Operations
Quick Craves, a cafe brand affiliated with Morsus, operates slightly differently from traditional restaurants on our platform. While it uses the same Morsus Delivery Partner App infrastructure, it does not utilize the Morsus Restaurant Partner App. Orders from Quick Craves are accepted and prepared directly within their kitchen, and once ready, the order is automatically assigned to a delivery partner via the Morsus Delivery Partner App. In this setup, Quick Craves communicates directly with delivery agents to ensure efficient pickup and delivery. All data related to such transactions — including order details and customer information — is processed under the same privacy and security standards outlined in this Privacy Policy.
For additional details, please refer to the Quick Craves Privacy Policy which governs how Quick Craves handles its customer and operational data.
Age Eligibility
Our Services are intended only for individuals who are **18 years of age or older**, or who meet the minimum age requirement as per applicable local laws (“Permissible Age”).
We do not knowingly collect or process personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from someone below this age, we will take immediate steps to delete the information.
If you believe that an underage individual has accessed our Services or provided personal data, please contact us immediately at support@morsus.com
Information We Collect
At Morsus, we collect both personal and operational information depending on the type of user — restaurant partners or delivery partners. This information helps us operate, improve, and support the functionality of our apps and services.
For All Users (Both Apps)
We collect personal information only when voluntarily provided or when necessary to use the core features of our apps. Login is done via mobile number OTP authentication — there is no separate registration form.
Information we may collect includes:
- Mobile Number: Required to log in and authenticate access to the app.
- Name and Gender: Optional; collected if you update your profile.
- Email Address and Date of Birth: Optional; collected only if voluntarily added.
- Profile Photo: If uploaded while customizing your profile.
- Device and App Usage Data: Automatically collected to monitor app performance and improve user experience.
Additional Information Collected in Each App
Morsus Restaurant Partner App
- Restaurant Name and Address: Provided by the admin during onboarding.
- Menu Details: Items, pricing, and availability as configured by the restaurant.
- Order History and Status: Records of orders received, processed, or canceled.
- App Interaction Data: Such as when you toggle item availability or update your menu.
Morsus Delivery Partner App
- Real-Time Location Data: Collected (with your explicit permission) when the app is active to:
- Assign deliveries based on your location
- Enable route navigation
- Track delivery progress
- Delivery History and Performance Metrics: Orders delivered, time taken, and related logs.
We do not collect or access location data in the background or when the app is closed. You may revoke location permissions anytime via device settings. However, this may affect delivery assignment and real-time navigation functionality.
Note on Order Information Sharing
To enable smooth delivery and order fulfillment:
- Restaurant partners receive relevant order details, such as the user’s name, phone number, delivery address, and ordered items.
- Delivery partners are assigned orders with necessary information to complete the pickup and delivery.
This data is shared only for operational purposes and never for marketing or external use.
Note on Payments
All payment processing (UPI, cards, wallets) is securely handled by trusted third-party providers like **Razorpay**.
We do not store or process any payment credentials on our servers.
How We Collect Information
We collect information in the following ways, depending on how you use our apps:
- Directly from You: When you interact with the app, such as:
- Logging in using your mobile number (via OTP)
- Updating your profile or restaurant details
- Managing menu items (for restaurant partners)
- Accepting or updating order statuses
- Accepting delivery assignments (for delivery partners)
- Through Device Permissions (e.g., Location Services – Delivery Partner App Only): For delivery partners, with your explicit permission, we access your device’s real-time location to:
- Assign nearby delivery orders
- Enable accurate pickup and drop-off navigation
- Track delivery progress while the app is active
Note: Location is accessed only when the Delivery Partner app is in use. You may disable location sharing anytime via device settings. Disabling location access may prevent order assignment or affect navigation features. We do not collect or store your location in the background or use it for marketing purposes.
- Automatic Data Collection: We also automatically collect anonymized technical data, such as:
- App usage logs
- Crash reports
- Device information (e.g., OS version, model)
- Interaction behavior (e.g., screen views)

All information is processed securely and only with trusted service providers who follow strict compliance standards.
We may share your information under the following circumstances:

- For restaurant partners: Order details (such as items, customer contact, and delivery address) are shared with the assigned delivery partner.
- For delivery partners: Customer information and route details are provided to facilitate timely delivery.

- Deliver services
- Resolve support requests
- Personalize app experiences

Your Choices
At Morsus, we believe you should have clear and easy control over your personal information. Here’s how you can manage your data and preferences within the apps:
- Access & Update Your Information: You can view, edit, or delete your personal or business details — such as your name, profile photo, contact number— directly through the Morsus Delivery Partner App or Restaurant Partner App under your Profile Settings.
- App Permissions: You are in full control of what either app can access on your device. For example:
- Location Access –
- In the Delivery Partner App, location access is used to assign deliveries based on your live location and ensure route accuracy.
- In the Restaurant Partner App, it helps verify your business location and determine delivery availability.
- Storage or Media Access – Used to upload or manage profile photos (for both apps), or to upload menu images and food items (in the Restaurant Partner App) if allowed.
You can enable or disable these permissions at any time through your device settings. However, certain features — such as real-time delivery tracking or nearby restaurant visibility — may not function properly if permissions are turned off.
- Location Access –
- Communications & Notifications: We may contact you via SMS, WhatsApp, email, or push notifications for the following purposes:
- Service communications such as new order notifications, delivery updates, system alerts, or account activity — these are essential and cannot be opted out of.
- Promotional content, including special deals, new feature announcements, or operational updates — these are optional and may be controlled via notification settings in your device.
Security of Your Data
At Morsus, protecting your personal and business information is a top priority. We implement strict technical and organizational safeguards across both the Delivery Partner App and the Restaurant Partner App to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of your data.
All data exchanged between your device and our servers is secured using industry-standard encryption protocols such as HTTPS (SSL/TLS) to ensure safe communication. Sensitive operations, such as login authentication and third-party payment processing, are protected using compliant systems like PCI-DSS certified gateways (e.g., Razorpay), which we do not directly control or store.
Internally, we apply access control mechanisms, secure cloud infrastructure, regular audits, and real-time monitoring to minimize any vulnerabilities. Access to user and partner data is strictly restricted to authorized personnel and only for legitimate operational needs.
While we take all reasonable steps to secure your data, we also recommend that you:
- Use strong passwords or screen locks on your device.
- Avoid sharing your login credentials.
- Log out of your account when using shared devices.
- Immediately report any suspicious activity to support@morsus.com.
What We Do to Protect Your Data
- Encrypted Transmission: All data exchanged between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS (SSL/TLS) to ensure secure communication over the internet.
- Data Encryption: Sensitive information — such as payment-related data handled by third parties like Razorpay — is processed using industry-standard encryption protocols and is not stored on our servers.
- Secure Infrastructure: We use secure cloud hosting and regularly monitor our systems to prevent and detect vulnerabilities or threats.
- Access Controls: Internal access to user data is strictly limited to authorized personnel only and managed using role-based permissions.
- PCI-DSS Compliance: While we do not directly store or process payment data, our payment provider (Razorpay) is PCI-DSS certified, ensuring industry-standard security for all transactions.
Your Responsibility
While we do our best to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to:
- Keep your login credentials private
- Log out after using the app on shared devices
- Contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized activity
Food Safety & Packaging Standards
At Morsus, we operate as a platform that connects customers with restaurants and facilitates order deliveries through our restaurant partners and delivery agents. While we manage the digital infrastructure and logistics support, we do not prepare, package, or handle food directly. All meals listed and ordered through Morsus are independently prepared and packaged by the respective restaurant selected at the time of order.
As such, food quality, hygiene, packaging, and safety are solely the responsibility of the restaurant partner. We strongly encourage all our restaurant partners to adhere to applicable food safety regulations and maintain hygiene practices in compliance with local health authority guidelines.
Here’s what you should know:
- Restaurant Responsibility: Every dish is prepared, packaged, and sealed by the restaurant before pickup. Morsus does not intervene in food preparation or packaging.
- Tamper-Evident Packaging: Some restaurants may use sealed or tamper-evident packaging at their discretion. Morsus does not mandate or control packaging methods.
- Delivery Handling: Morsus delivery partners are instructed to handle food with care and maintain hygiene during transit, but they are not responsible for verifying packaging integrity or food quality.
- User Feedback: If you experience any issues related to food quality, hygiene, or safety, you may report the concern via the Morsus app. Our team will coordinate with the restaurant partner to address and resolve the issue promptly.
- Restaurant Audits (if applicable): While Morsus may monitor ratings, reviews, and customer reports to maintain standards, we do not carry out in-person inspections of restaurant kitchens or facilities.
Disclaimer: Morsus disclaims liability for food-related concerns, including but not limited to food contamination, allergic reactions, expired products, or improper food handling. In urgent situations, we advise customers to contact the restaurant directly.
